We are looking for a rockstar Freelance Copywriter to support our fun and growing team! This is a contract position that will primarily support product launch copy requirements, such as packaging copy, romance language, ingredient copy, PDP copy, custom landing page copy, etc. There will also be an opportunity to provide copy for a variety of digital platforms. The successful candidate has a portfolio of work showing their ability to write effectively per our unique, Laird Superfood brand voice!

This contract position can be remote and is estimated at 10-20 hours per week for a three-month period with the ability to extend. Pay is $25-$30/hour. Please submit your resume and a link to your portfolio for consideration.

Responsibilities include:

● Copywriting and content strategy for a variety of digital platforms

● Concept and copy development for digital and social media campaigns with extensions across channel

● Working collaboratively with creative, strategy, user experience, and account leads

● Copywriting and content strategy for product launches

● Absorbing and distilling complex information into approachable, relatable copy

● Video script development

● Copywriting for client presentation decks

● Effectively and persuasively presenting ideas to consumers

Requirements:

● 3+ years of copywriting experience, mostly digital

● Ability to create clear and compelling copy while managing multiple deadlines and deliverables

● Ability to create copy that is on brand and drives the key product messaging forward

● Diverse portfolio of great digital and mobile experiences, social media and other marketing campaigns, along with the stories behind why they were effective; CPG experience a huge plus

● Ability to work autonomously with a curious mind and a willingness to dive into a range of topics

● Solid understanding of social media channels and how to overcome the tyranny of 140 characters
