We are currently looking to hire an experienced Foreman to join our team of builders and craftspeople. This is a full-time year-round nonexempt position within our Finish Carpentry Division. The ideal candidate must understands detailed drawing and have extensive finish carpentry experience. All products and materials we install are of the highest quality, and our completed projects adhere to the highest quality standards.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ability to read and understand architectural and structural plans thoroughly.
Manage one to two Journeyman and/or Apprentice Carpenters.
Able to layout off plans and shops to perform framing in the field.
Have a understanding of MEP subs to follow for safe and fluid production
Ability to communicate well and respectfully with subs and other workers.
Able to teach, and be taught new processes (a willingness to learn)
Understanding of OSHA safety and willingness to always follow OSHA regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
8-10 years' experience with 5 of those years as a Journeyman preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend plans, shop drawings, sub-trade specs, and apply information to required tasks.
Must be extremely detail oriented.
Reliable transportation to and from the worksites during scheduled workdays.
Must have a Journeyman Carpenter’s basic tool set. Major tools are provided.
