ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER
California, San francisco bay area 00000 San francisco bay area USAWe are seeking a Project Manager with excellent experience in the commercial industry. Our scope of work ranges from commercial and industrial projects as large as a mall expansion to the smallest tenant improvement.

Our Projects are throughout the Bay Area (Currently San Jose to San Francisco, Oakland, Fremont and surrounding areas) so travel is a must.

The Job:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing electrical projects and ensuring that budgets and timelines are met using all available resources, including personnel resources. They are responsible for managing Field Electricians and assists in ensuring proper flow of work on projects. The Project Manager acts as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, and acts to maintain customer relationships. They are also responsible for sourcing out new opportunities within a customer's facility, quoting jobs, and following up with customers.
The Responsibilities:
Manage electrical projects and ensure projects fall within budget, timeline, and quality requirements
Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting
Oversee pre-con meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field
Collaborate with prefabrication and design departments
Set clear goals and expectations to foreman
Work with foreman to manage and coordinate electricians
Ensuring all work is conducted safely
Demonstrating your commitment to safety in the workplace
Negotiate and resolve all client concerns
When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects
Manage all jobs closeout procedures
Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
Accurately estimating time and materials required for jobs and providing timely quotes to customers
Manage work orders and approve invoices
Manage customer expectations while maintaining a high level of customer service
Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry
The Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (electrical engineering degree a plus)
3-7 years successful electrical PM experience (large job experience and OSHA 30 a plus)
Prior experience in electrical estimating
Strong computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Outstanding interpersonal skills
