Recreation Leader/Senior Recreation Leader (Part-Time)

The Town of Colma is currently hiring part-time Recreation Leaders and Senior Recreation Leaders to join our team!

The Recreation Services Department provides programs and activities for Colma residents of all ages ranging from infants to seniors. Program elements include fitness, enrichment, cultural events, special events, sporting events, trips and community events. It is the goal of the Recreation Services Department to offer a balanced program ensuring all elements are offered to all age groups throughout the year.

Recreation Leaders assist in organizing recreational programs in areas of children, adults, senior citizens and participates with special needs at playgrounds, community centers and other recreational areas.

Senior Recreation Leaders are responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing recreational activities. Incumbents assist in preparing schedule of approved activities and lead specific recreational programs with the assistance of the Recreation Coordinator.
