We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Back Server to join our team, a vibrant restaurant committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Back Server, you will play a critical role in supporting our front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant during dinner and brunch service.

This is a full-time position with shifts from Wednesday to Sunday, including dinner shifts (Wednesday to Saturday) and brunch shifts (Saturday and Sunday). We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, works well under pressure, and is eager to contribute to a high-energy team environment

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with Table Setting and Resetting: Set tables with silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments before each shift; reset tables efficiently after guests leave.

Support Servers: Provide assistance to servers by delivering food and drinks to tables, refilling beverages, and clearing used dishes.

Expedite Food from Kitchen: Help deliver food from the kitchen to guest tables in a timely manner, ensuring that dishes are correct and meet the restaurant's quality standards.

Maintain Cleanliness: Keep dining areas clean and organized by clearing and cleaning tables, floors, and high-traffic areas throughout the shift.

Pour wine and make cocktails if need be: On certain days and while there isn't a bartender present, the back server will be working as a hybrid bartender/back server.

Refill Drinks and Water: Ensure guests’ water glasses and beverages are consistently refilled during the meal.

Assist with Guest Needs: Anticipate guest needs and provide support by offering extra napkins, condiments, or special requests as needed.

Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication and fast service during busy meal periods.

Maintain a Positive and Professional Attitude: Represent the restaurant’s values by delivering excellent service in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

Previous Restaurant Experience: Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate!

Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, helping both front-of-house and kitchen staff as needed.

Strong Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently with team members and customers.

Customer-Focused: A commitment to providing excellent service and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Attention to Detail: Must be able to quickly identify and address any needs or issues that arise during service.

Flexible Schedule: Must be available to work dinner shifts Wednesday to Saturday, as well as brunch shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

Positive Attitude and Strong Work Ethic: A can-do attitude and a willingness to assist others in a high-energy, busy environment.
