Dish Washer - Production Kitchen & Cafe Closer Positions

Companion Bakeshop is hiring two separate dishwasher positions. One is in a production kitchen, the other is in a cafe setting that will have some bussing and closing duties as well as customer interaction. Listed first is the Retail Cafe Dishwasher, then the Production one:

RETAIL CAFE DISHWASHER

Part Time- Hours 11am-5pm Friday-Sunday, 1 position available

Requirements:

-Must be available Friday-Sunday.

-Must enjoy a clean space and be efficient at their tasks

-Must be willing to jump in and help a customer in any downtime from dish & cleaning tasks

-Must be adaptable and flexible in their duties

-Must have high attention to detail and great shop awareness of when bussing needs to happen and when to help a customer / wipe tables / assist in other areas

-Must have a bubbly and fun go-getter personality and enjoy customer service just as much as being in the back of house

-This shift is a mixture of a Customer Service, Bussing, Cleaning, and Dishes/assisting in all closing tasks.

PRODUCTION DISH WASHER & EQUIPMENT CLEANER:

Part Time, hours 3pm-7pm

Needed Monday-Saturday: Part Time - 2 positions available

We are an efficient, high volume, commercial bread bakery kitchen in need of a Dish Washer & Cleaner position. This position would be in charge of daily deep cleaning tasks around the kitchen as well as efficiently washing a high volume of bus tub, bowl, utensils, and commercial mixer parts.

The person we are looking for has the following qualities:

-enjoys a clean space

-enjoys the process of cleaning and washing dishes

-sees the big picture

-can apply themselves to a task and stick to it efficiently

-is adaptable to a changing workflow based on day of the week and volume of dishes

-is a self-starter who does not need to be directed at every move – someone who can be given a list and can complete the tasks listed, while still seeing the big picture of the kitchen

-is able to adhere to, and uphold, the Company’s food safety policies and procedures

Daily Job Duties include but may not be limited to:

-Efficiently hand wash a high volume of bus tubs and dishes in Commercial Bakery Kitchen

-Washing floor mats

-Cleaning mixers

-Sweeping thoroughly

-Using walk-behind floor cleaner

-Assist in wiping down and cleaning racks and other equipment as necessary
