Description Robert Half has an exceptional opportunity for a short-term contract / temporary to hire Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a recognized company in the Service industry. A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This is a fantastic role and you will have the opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department. Located in Santa Monica, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position.Your responsibilities

Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

Help with internal and external audits as required

Carry out a full-cycle A/P

Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Provide support to internal business partners

Execute additional tasks as needed

Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis Requirements - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

Vendor Management experience preferred

Strong familiarity with Invoice Processing

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Spreadsheet and database capabilities

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

High attention to detail
