Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Robert Half is actively searching for a short-term contract / temporary Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at an innovative company in the Non-Profit industry. Matching, batching, and coding invoices, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Santa Monica, California area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.How you will make an impact

Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

Implement full-cycle A/P

Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

Help with internal and external audits as required

Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them Requirements - Strong familiarity with Yardi

Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

Expertise in Invoice Entry

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

High attention to detail

Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
