Description

Robert Half is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager with Pardot expertise to join our financial client full-time. The role is hybrid (2 days onsite) in Santa Monica.

Job Overview:

Marketing calendar and priorities with our sale partners (rolling 60 day calendar) a lot that happens on quarter end. Execute calendar we've agreed to. Agile to that calendar changing (efforts to stop an email based on market road blocks), play a part in what's reasonable with execution. What we agreed today may completely change tomorrow. CMO communicates with the sales partners if things go sideways or have to shift/make changes. Heavy regulation and compliance -highly supported here. Submission is one thing. Negotiation on feedback is another. CMO will always handle calls (if need to make changes or need more time). Majority of emails come from bigger pieces of content (pull from that). A TON of work with IM (investment team) and sales team-writing often comes from them. Know the market and message better than we do. We work to modify it (might not fit, etc.). Partnership in content development for emails. Everyone is open and available to help (feedback on first draft). Meet with sales every 2 weeks to iron out messages/attachments/prioritie- we format it and are a part of those conversations to derive email content. Right now we are too content heavy. Strategic thinker: an eye on the market to halt or adjust email messaging based on market.

Segmentation

2 brands with products within each brand

Sometimes emails are for one brand, sometimes both brands

If in core segmentation will fire the email from the wholesaler

Sometimes fired off from corporate address

• Manage highly complex segmentation (per brand or message)

• 8 emails/day with different headlines/audiences

• Highly regulated field, everything goes through compliance

o Mutual funds

o Asset management

o Investment management

o Database of 100k advisors

o Big sales team focus on other financial advisors across the nation

o No customer or target we don't cover

Pardot expert to build new segmentation for emails

Required Functional Skills/Tools:

• Pardot expertise

• Entrepreneurial agile spirit (ability to touch a lot of things, make decisions, marketplace changes on day to day basis

• Basic understanding for financial

Nice to have: be able to make updates to our WordPress
