Looking for a full-time customer service representative for a Durable/Respiratory Medical Equipment Company. Individual should have strong work ethics, good communication skills, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description: Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering customer service inquiries via phone, fax, email, & walk in. This person will be responsible with handling accurate, timely and efficient medical equipment orders, deliveries, pick-ups, and miscellaneous services. This position will also require the ability to accurately communicate verbal instructions on the equipment use/safety, insurance verification/coverage and when scheduling the equipment delivery/pick-up.
Position Responsibilities & Duties:
-Respond promptly to customer inquiries received via phone, fax, and email.
-Knowledgeable with most Medical Insurance Policies. Will need to verify customer’s insurance eligibility, benefits, and process authorizations.
-Receive & Process daily Home/Respiratory Medical Equipment orders as they come in.
-Communicate and coordinate with other departments, as necessary.
-Maintain a positive, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
-Good Organizational, Written, Verbal Skills.
-Other duties as requested by management and ability to in different departments when needed
-Able to help in different departments when needed.
Job Requirements:
-High School Diploma/GED.
-Basic Computer Skills and Common Knowledge of Microsoft Programs such as WORD, Excel, &
Outlook.
-Bilingual skills are considered a plus but not required.
