We’re moving fast, and with this rapid scale and dynamic growth we’re hiring a VP of Strategy, Planning and Operations to accelerate and align our go-to-market (GTM) strategy, planning and operations across Solution Sales.The VP of Strategy, Planning and Operations will shape the organization, programs and ways of working to enable the business to sustain high growth. This individual will partner closely with the GEOs and Solution Consulting teams, with ACE / Marketing + Global Sales Development / Industry, with the Product teams, and with Corp Strategy / Sales Ops / G&A to simplify execution and to accelerate growth. This role will directly drive increased sales productivity and efficiency. By championing simplicity, consistency and alignment for our global teams, the candidate will ease field burden and ensure we work smarter. Innovation and change will remain hallmarks for Solution Sales, so this individual will also ensure the organization is adaptable and ready for continued progress and growth. This role will also shape and prioritize investment to create the platform for future growth.This position comes with the opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming the business to drive lasting impact for the organization, and will report directly to the Senior Vice President for Solution Sales. Responsibilities:The VP of Strategy, Planning and Operations will attract and retain top talent to execute across with 4 key pillars:Pillar 1: Strategy Analyze internal & external dynamics to uncover new opportunities Formulate strategic plans in collaboration with x-functional orgs Identify market transformations and initiatives to capture NNACV Define change initiatives Evangelize strategyPillar 2: Chief of Staff & Planning Coordinate across staff + internal meetings + workflows Coordinate customer & partner engagement Cross-functional alignment Lead integrated strategy & planning ensuring alignment with peer orgs (Interlocks,LRP) Drive portfolio management and guide program selection & optimizationPillar 3: Programs Execute change initiatives and change management Drive transformational, strategic initiatives in coordination with geos and x-functional business partners. Ensure consistency and ease of doing business. 4X3 Framework to effective execute across all 4 workflows in all 3 geos. Program examples: Specialist-led Selling, Pipeline Generation, Supercharging Sales Plays & Campaigns, Digital SalesPillar 4: Engagement & Adoption Build & execute annual, calendar-based plan to: Establish & nurture the growing community (One Team) Increase Employee Belonging and navigate change Provide Recognition Establish iterative feedback loopTo be successful in this role you have:15+ years of total work experience in strategy and operations at a top technology company. Direct experience leading strategy and planning teams partnered with matrixed, specialist sales teams.

Energetic self-starter with a proven track record for getting things done in a high-growth, dynamic sales environment.

Command for building consensus amongst numerous high powered executives and pushing forward to tangible output/outcomes quickly. Demonstrated ability to innovate and influence change.

Highly skilled at building trusted relationships and building high-performing teams.

Sharp business judgment, ability to see "big picture" and to prioritize resources to capture opportunity

Strong understanding of the business, and experience working cross-functionally in bringing alignment and consistency across various business functions.

Superb ability to influence and motivate others, drive collaboration, teaming & resolve conflict between diverse stakeholder groups

Ability to think strategically, understand the big picture and connect the dots between strategy and operational priorities, as well as translate the strategy into effective execution and tangible outcomes.

Comfort with challenging the status-quo and identifying opportunities for improvements in our GTM

Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing. Able to drive consensus around business priorities, while also able to clearly voice dissent to influence organizational direction.

Experience with analytics and ability to frame metrics and KPIs to measure success of established business strategy.

Implementing and maturing new sales motions to capture growth across incubation, scaling and mature products offerings.

Working with the Sales team to support, challenge and steer our customer interactions

Evolving the maturity and discipline of the operational cadence of the business.

Demonstrated exceptional learning agility.

Deep understanding of the enterprise software/ SaaS industry highly desirable, including ability to speak to market and competitive trends and confidently articulate ServiceNow’s solution set.
