And because it FLEXes around each individual employee based on their individual choices, employees are empowered to push boundaries and help us all evolve, together.Your CareerAs a Global Financial Services Industry (FSI) Architect you will be responsible for Palo Alto Networks security reference architectures and critical use cases supporting our Financial Services (Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, Fintech) customers across our product and services portfolio today and in the future. You will be required to engage with key internal and external stakeholders, gathering business and technical requirements, documenting use cases and scenarios and creating reference architecture guides for our FSI customer teams and partners. A key goal is to build and provide Industry-specific architectural guidance for Palo Alto’s FSI Customers by supporting our internal Systems Engineers, Account Managers, Partners in evaluating, designing or proposing security solutions.This Global FSI Architect role is focused on key Industry Use Cases and Reference Architectures integrating Palo Alto Networks products and solutions in the financial services sector. It will require a candidate with a broad understanding of the security architectures, practices and a proven ability to be creative during problem discovery to enable Palo Alto Networks to deliver on Industry-focused approaches to solving critical security use cases.Your ImpactWorking with Product Management (PM), Sales, and Marketing, owning the creation of cybersecurity Reference Architectures that describe how the Palo Alto Networks products work together to solve Financial Services customer business problems.

Create cybersecurity content and assets that helps Sales and partners effectively position and sell use-case based solutions with an architectural approach for financial institutions

Work with Product Management and Systems Engineering (SE) organizations to understand and apply product and technology roadmaps to bring business value to customers through tailored use cases and architecture development.

Build and maintain a library of financial services use cases as a resource for customers and prospects

Provide education and knowledge transfer to the sales engineers via internal presentations and workshops.

Collaborate with PM and Marketing teams to define customer requirements for network infrastructure and multi-cloud security architectures.

Educate and advise customers on best practices for security architectures at financial institutions

Perform other related duties and projects as needed to grow mindshare in the FSI

Your experience 7-10+ years of experience designing, architecting, implementing, and troubleshooting security/network solutions in the Financial Services Industry (FSI).

Experience authoring technical architectures and supporting documentation is required.

Experience with the major cloud service providers platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM) and from a multi-cloud Security Architecture perspective.

Hands on experience building lab / test environments and troubleshooting network infrastructure and security products and solutions in different IT environments.

Demonstrable experience with designing solutions with emerging technologies across Infrastructure, Code (DevSecOps), Cloud and Security.

Knowledge and experience with Palo Alto Networks and/or competitive solutions across Network Security, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Zero Trust, Cloud Native Application Protection, Endpoint and Security Operations is a plus.

The ability to quickly learn, adapt and apply the learning to produce deliverables is critical.

Be able to translate technology into business benefits that resonate with customers.

Experience with the Financial Services Industry is critical for this role.

Be a good storyteller and communicator. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
