Journeyman & Experienced Apprentice Electricians

Watt Electric is a family owned, full service electrical contractor serving Central and Southern California including Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito, Lompoc, Buellton and Santa Ynez.

We'd like to expand our team, and are searching for long term Journeymen and experienced Apprentice Electricians.

Day to day tasks will require employees to supply and maintain their own hand and cordless tools. Employees must provide their own transportation to each job site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience as a residential, commercial and industrial electrician (Journeyman)

2. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

3. Reliable transportation

4. Good attendance and punctuality required

5. Must be self-motivated and willing to work from descriptions and blue prints

6. Experience and proficiency running electrical conduit

7. Must have layout capabilities

8. Must have a good attitude and be willing to work with others

9. Must be hard working and have the drive and determination to complete the task at hand

10. Must be dependable and willing to complete the project at hand from start to finish

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

1. The duties of this job regularly require the employee to be near moving mechanical parts.

2. The duties of this job occasionally require the employee to be asked to work in outside weather conditions and/or occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
