Monday – Friday/8am to 5pm

Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Purchasing and Marketing, this position is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties and to add value and profit to Jordano’s Food Service through effective marketing of our company to sales and our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create and design marketing publications including, but not limited to, monthly flyers, new item flyers, one-off promotions, catalogs, guides, events, and other marketing collateral.

Coordinating the marketing publications as it relates to soliciting vendor support, working with purchasing on item selection, raising revenue, and reconciling the revenue billing at the conclusion of publications.

Responsible for theme collaboration, editorial timeline and creation, advertisement design, budget management, and post-production and print process management of our bi-annual magazine publication.

Lead for communication between Jordano’s and third-party graphic design company we partner with. As with other marketing publications, this position will be responsible for the process from beginning to end. Work in collaboration with the Marketing team to develop annual marketing programs.

Work in collaboration with the Marketing team to develop special promotions and sales incentive flyers that can occur throughout the year. Cross-train in maintaining the company’s social media platforms.

Cross-train in maintaining the company’s website. Participation in different marketing events such as our semi-annual golf tournaments, sales promotion kickoff meetings, awards banquet, etc. This would include assisting in the preparation and execution of the event with the Marketing team. This position will be part of our Food Show committee, responsible for marketing our food show to the trade (every other year). Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication or related field; and/or minimum 2 to 3 years working in a marketing assistant capacity. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Constant Contact, etc.

Skills

Excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and proofreader skills. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This is not a remote (work from home) position.
