Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to support a growing demand for robotic process automation! As a Software Engineeron theRobotics Process Automation, you will interact with IT and business users to deliver on robotic process automation and intelligent automation capabilities. You are required to effectively communicate and work with a technical team on a day-to-day basis to design, develop, test, debug, maintain and supporting system implementations.

Essential Functions
  • Collaborate with engineering and business users to perform analysis, assess automation feasibility, and translating software requirements into software design solutions.
  • Effectively design, build, program, test and deploy large end-to-end RPA implementations comprised of multiple applications and technologies.
  • Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.
  • Optimize platform components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Support initiatives to improve efficiency such as developing engineering process patterns to enable reusable components, building utility, and establishing framework for sharing bot components across different business units.
  • Assist in operations and maintenance to update and maintain bots, engage in incident management, and assist with communication toward business impact events.
  • Leverage expertise of senior level team members to explore customized solutions while following best practices of secure design and coding standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Contributes to the results of a team and works towards achieving team goals and objectives.
  • Support emerging technology innovations to extend platform for complex use cases such as intelligent/cognitive automation and hyperautomation.
  • Identify issues, seeks out solutions and makes recommendations to the broad business community to apply customized solutions to solve business problems.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers and peers to provide service excellence and trouble-shoot issues as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.
  • Manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasks required to maintain system functionality.
  • Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Technology development experience on major technologies and platforms such as .Net, API/Web Services, AWS, Azure
  • 3+ years of experience with one or many coding languages such as C#, C, Java, ASP.Net, PL/SQL, SQL Server, Python, or SOAP / REST Services
  • Experience with Agile methodology and best practice preferably experience in ALM tools like TFS or Jira.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years hand on experience implementing Robotic Process Automation solutions using one of the leading solutions: UI Path, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism.
  • Knowledge of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) related automation tools/development or certifications in any of the Robotic Process Automation solutions is a plus!

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 3-5 years of work experience
