To complement their rapid growth, they are actively looking for a talented and experienced Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead/Architect to join our team as a contractor immediately, with the option to convert to full-time. The Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead/Architect will be responsible for providing overall mentorship regarding strategies and techniques for CPQ product solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Business Stakeholders, in developing robust, scalable and flexible solution architectures for various internal projects, including crafting prototypes, building proof of concepts, and preparing architecture roadmaps. The candidate will ensure product solutions support business needs, follow strong architectural principles, use system resources efficiently, and integrate cleanly with the user interface and server components of the CPQ application. Key Responsibilities Design CPQ application architecture solutions spanning multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Communities) to meet business requirements Serve as a technical & functional expert in CPQ and Quote-to-Bill processes. Lead and assist in hands-on solution design, rapidly build proof-of-concepts and prototypes to evaluate CPQ functionality. Assess current state processes, pain points, and future needs, and articulate how Salesforce CPQ can bridge those gaps Conduct Solution Architecture reviews with project teams prior to design and development activities and ensure CPQ solutions are scalable and aligned with vendor roadmap to meet business requirements. Communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels across project management, executive, sales, pricing, order, and billing teams. Oversee multiple vendors involved with Salesforce CPQ configuration and development work Collaborate with Salesforce technical team to ensure teams follow best practice when architecting, programming or documenting CPQ related solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and identify opportunities where technology might be deployed to deliver business improvements and competitive advantage. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, or in a related field 6 + years of experience in architecting and designing full stack solutions on the Salesforce Platform 3 + years of experience in architecting and designing Salesforce CPQ solutions 3+ years of experience in a Project Lead, Solution Architect, or Lead Business Analyst role Extensive knowledge of product configuration, complex pricing rules & sequence, quote configurator plugins & Salesforce CPQ APIs Proficiency in various CPQ functionalities such as perpetual and subscription-based licensing, amendments, extensions, co-terming, renewals and Evergreen contracts Solid experience in data migration strategy, tools and processes to migrate data between custom CPQ and billing systems to Salesforce CPQ Experience with quote document generation and integration with DocuSign Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies Preferred Certifications Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist Salesforce Certified Administrator and Advanced Administrator Salesforce Platform Developer Certifications Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant Salesforce Certified Application and/or System Architect Soft Skills Excellent analytical, technical aptitude and proven ability to solve problems Strong verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and advocate for good development practices Highly motivated to succeed and a strong sense of ownership Ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross-team project group with minimal supervision Ability to engage effectively with business and technical teams Excellent time management and organization skills with a very keen attention to detail Able to remain focused and work under pressure Stays current on existing and emerging development tools, platforms, and delivery models Ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities Regards Gagan 6462007180
