SCHEDULE: 0.001 FTE (PRN-Per Diem), SHIFT: As NeededPOSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Occupational Health Nurse provides clinical nursing services in the employee health clinic to hospital employees. These services are provided through a collaborative process, which assesses, plans, implements, coordinates and monitors employee health and safety.LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Minimum: California Licensed Vocational License required; Current BLSPreferred: Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum: 1 year experience as an LVN providing clinical care requiredPreferred: Experience in occupational health, workers compensation management or hospital employment.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Minimum: Graduate of an accredited School of Licensed Vocational NursingKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, critical thinking ability. Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Applications. Ability to be highly organized and efficient while working independently.
