Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of cloud transformation supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to leading a group of global professionals to, drive technology innovation as part of cloud initiative, collaborate with business stakeholders for requirements and objectives, define forward-looking cloud strategy and roadmap, design, architect and executive cloud infrastructure for performance and security, and establish the best-in-class operation delivery model.

Job Description

IT is adopting cloud as a strategic direction as we are transforming infrastructure for the future, including enterprise application infrastructure, engineering design platforms and manufacturing platforms. This critical role is part of global IT infrastructure leadership and will lead a team of global talents and is accountable for

Developing cloud vision and strategy
Delivering cloud architecture and governance framework
Collaborating with business and key stakeholders for adoption and identify opportunities for cloud transformation
Executing project plans and programs
Sustaining a global operation support model

More specifically, we are looking for a leader

To act as service owner for the cloud infrastructure
To lead the cloud transformation to ensure the alignment of our mission, strategy, and processes to the IT strategy leveraging private and public cloud
To be the leading agent for cloud initiative
In collaboration with the service owner for global data center and network infrastructure, to develop roadmaps for future data center and cloud in 3, 5 and 10 years, this would include
- Overall global data center infrastructure vision
- Engineering computing / HPC roadmap
- Enterprise applications and infrastructure platforms
To design and deliver cloud architecture execution based on the vision and roadmap by collaborate with information security, other IT groups and business for operation effectives and compliance
To drive cloud adoption by identifying applications and platforms
To lead the cross-function center of excellence, driving standard and compliance
To optimize cloud cost across various functions and projects
To drive global talent strategy
To oversee execution of cloud projects and programs
To establish an operation support service model to ensure all cloud services are measured by service metrics
To drive innovation to the next level by leveraging technologies in automation, AI and code based management
To manage vendor relationships with our Cloud Service Providers (CSP)

This role requires occasional travel.

Qualifications

15+ years of IT experience, preferred in global organizations with large scale complex projects experience, and high-tech or strong scientific computing or high performance computing experience
5-8 years of IT management experience, in global talent setting
5+ years of experience in cloud migration, cloud transformation in enterprise and engineering applications
Clear communication skills, influential, and collaboration with peer IT organizations and business stakeholders
Working knowledge of key cloud providers (Azure, GCP and AWS)
