A medical health tech Series A company is looking to bring on a Lead Backend Python Data Engineer to their team. This company focuses on gathering health information to provide to patients so that they can understand family health history, be informed on medications, and take an approach to educating patients on the best treatments for them. As a Lead Backend Python Data Engineer, you will lead a small team while helping to design and architect their backend platform, work on processing their data, and pipeline workflow management. You will be a key member with a voice on the platform as it scales quickly and will need to have multithreading experience Required Skills & Experience

Python coding
Experience working with Django or Flask
Strong experience with concurrency or multithreading coding
Proficient with workflow management tools (Airflow, Dataflow, etc.)
Microservices experience
Database experience with SQL, PostgreSQL

Desired Skills & Experience

Some DevOps tooling experience
Expertise in messaging tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
Enough experience with AWS to help with workflow managed data
CS or Bioinformatics/Biosciences Background
