Senior Backend Engineer / Python/SQL/AWS

A rapidly expanding AgTech company based in the East Bay is looking for talented software engineers in order to develop their backend services to accommodate their growth in the past year. This platform that they are building is for farmers and agricultural specialists to buy and sell their products (Seeds, Produce, Etc.) as well as obtain financial services for their own company. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will own your own projects along with creating new tools for other engineers and collaborating with fellow engineers to scale their products with the end goal being eventually owning your own codebase and maintaining it. This role is great if you are looking for greenfield projects and have a say on projects! Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in Python or Golang
• Database work in MySQL or PostGreSQL
• AWS experience or other cloud usage
• A history with building resilient backend services

• Previous work or experience in DevOps is a big bonus but not required

• Coding: 75%
• Design: 25%
