Deloitte Greenhouse® Operations Business Advisor - Senior Manager

The Deloitte Greenhouse® Digital Experience Team is focused on upping the digital engagement in everything we do. It's focused on both managing a portfolio of tools and technologies to drive collaboration and a wow! factor to every Lab and on innovating what the future digital experience will be.

Work you'll do.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Operations Business Advisor is a strategic leadership role that supports the Deloitte Greenhouses' commitment to be an efficiently operated and high-impact organization. The role will have wide-ranging operational responsibilities that cover general operations, resource management, reporting and forecasting, and governance. We are currently transforming our operations and this role will be an integral part of crafting strategy and then implementing it.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in strategy, operations, data management, leadership, and information technology systems and tools. A strong background in strategy, operations, IT, business, and mathematics is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the ongoing transformation of core operations and stay abreast of current Deloitte best practices to ensure efficiency and optimization
  • Ensure seamless connection between the components of core operations, including resource management, reporting and forecasting, and governance
  • Guide, implement, and oversee practices for data collection, management, quality and analysis
  • Partner closely with leadership and business stakeholders as a trusted and influential leader to identify important questions, define key metrics, and cultivate a data driven decision making culture
  • Query and analyze complex data sets to develop actionable insights; package insights for leadership to understand business trends for demand, resource supply, and resource utilization
  • Gather requirements, design, and implement Tableau dashboards and Excel reporting for all employees and executive leadership
  • Know deeply our end-to-end processes so that the downstream effects of any changes made to them can be identified and managed
  • Support our lab teams by helping them understand operational changes and what any changes mean for all levels of lab professionals

The Right Person Would Have:
  • Exceptional problem solving, reporting, and analytics skills
  • Ability to respond to complex problems with logical and data-driven answers
  • Focus on data-driven decision making and learning by experimentation
  • Highly proficient in building reports from scratch and/or creating automated dashboards and data visualizations
  • Experience in both internal and external storytelling and executive presentations
  • Experience working with development teams to identify, manage, and configure data related initiatives
  • Intellectual curiosity to dig into problems
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate the right level of detail based on audience
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Travel up to 30% (While 30% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
