Mid Level Software Engineer

A Bay Area-based digital health company that is focused on building the next generation of infrastructure for care delivery by combining clinical medicine and mobile technology is growing their team. They are looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer (are open to more senior engineers as well) with a strong sense of ownership to help build out their vision of their new generation of mobile health care delivery. You can expect to be working on both the front (JavaScript) and back end (Java) but will mainly be heavily backend focused on the back end. You can also expect to be building pipelines with tools such as Spark, Kafka, AWS, and Hadoop. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional Software Development experience
• Experience with Python and Java, Scala, or Kotlin
• Experience developing web applications
• Experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST
• Familiar with DevOps tools and processes for managing services on AWS

• Building out the platform
• Participate in daily meetings
