Software Engineer, DevSecOps - South San Francisco, CA - up to $200k

A Biopharma company focusing on curing cancer is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (DevSecOps) to join their talented team of engineers.

Responsibilities:

Be responsible for the design and implementation of the cloud infrastructure and automation to support a cloud-based microservices architecture (data platform)
Be part of developing a cybersecurity program as part of the infrastructure, application design
Be responsible for developing an automated framework for security tool deployment and development
Develop and deploy CI/CD pipelines
Automate all infrastructure deployment as code

Qualifications:

Min 10 years of industry experience: DevOps experience, software engineering background
Strong experience building secure infrastructure
Heavy AWS experience (5+ years) - a clear understanding of AWS IAM and other AWS security products
Extensive automation & infrastructure experience
Experience using Kubernetes & Lambda preferred
Experience developing and deploying CI/CD pipeline
Extensive scripting experience (ideally Python)
Nice to have: knowledge of HIPAA regulatory compliance; experience working in the biotechnology industry
