Robert Half is seeking a talented Help Desk Analyst to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment with a Wholesale Distribution company. You'll love this job if you excel at coming up with creative solutions to technical issues. This Help Desk Analyst role is onsite, located in the San Francisco, California area. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity.Major responsibilities- Pinpoint recurring technical issues and present solutions to address the root of the problems
- Provide solutions and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
- Provide IT assistance for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other software applications used internally
- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
- Experience with IT support ticketing systems
- Microsoft Office 365 experience
- Proven knowledge of VPN Technologies
- Active Directory experience preferred
- Google Suite experience highly desired
- Expertise in MS Windows 10
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Understanding of basic networking concepts
- Experience installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
- Working knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
