Operations Specialist

Description A large bank based in San Francisco is partnering with Robert Half for find an Operations Associate. The bank delivers customized wealth management advice and solutions to a wide range of clients, including individuals, families, foundations, and organizations. Their mission is to listen and understand the needs of our clients, provide diverse "best of breed" alternatives, and deliver an unparalleled level of service. The Client Administration Operations team provides middle-office operational support to help investment professionals and clients meet their financial goals.The Operations Associate is responsible for the onboarding of new clients and the maintenance of client account updates. This responsibility includes but is not limited to new account opening, account maintenance, and internal client service.What you will do as a Operations Associate, Client Account Administration - Contingent:Assist the New Account Team with operational duties this involves:

Generation and mailing of client welcome mailings

Processing client contact updates

Establishing online account access

Updating account/rep codes

Updating account beneficiary changes

Reviewing and processing account registration changes

Reviewing and processing account signer updates

Setting up interested parties

Pre generating Account numbers

Process account closure request

Review new account documentation

Assisting with account related inquiries or redirecting inquiries to appropriate department

Answering client service help lines, answering routine questions, and escalating issues to management, when appropriate

Ensuring compliance with both internal and regulatory policy and procedures

Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor which may include special projects

Requirements

1 to 3 years of financial services experiences at a brokerage firm or registered investment advisor/manager, preferred

New accounts or client onboarding experience, a plus 4-year college degree with a business concentration

Experience with NetX & LexisNexis, a plus

Job Demands: Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.

Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
