Title- UI Architect

Location- San Francisco, CA

Job Type-Long Term

• 10-12 years of experience as a software engineer, with a minimum of 3+ years as a UI Architect for highly trafficked customer facing digital assets.
• Experience with responsive, adaptive UI design and development In-depth knowledge of framework code and methods of component architecture.
• Strong Object Oriented JavaScript and debugging skills
• Experience in Web/UI Technologies and one or more of JS frameworks such as NodeJS, jQuery,and ReactJS and Vue.js
• Strong in HTML5, CSS3 and CSS pre-processors(SASS, LESS etc)
• Provide leadership in all areas of the development process, including UI development standards and practices, system architecture and design, functional and technical design and implementation
• Expert level optimization skills to improve performance, scalability, and usability.
• Experience leading large scale UI transformations and design of re-usable User Experience subsystems highly preferred.
• Strong Implementation & architectural design skill of BOTH Server-side and client-side NodeJS/JavaScript (and related frameworks) based application
• Hands-on experience in using template engines like Mustache / Handlebars/Blaze etc
• Experience in test driven development using JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jasmine/Chai/Mocha/Karma
• Good understanding of UI best practices, RESTful services, Accessibility WCAG 2.0, W3C Standards
• Understanding of complete Technology Stack of application (Integrations with downstream Applications/Services, Deployment, Cloud Infrastructure & Services, CI/CD pipeline)
• Designing of High volume, Scalable, Secure and Resilient Server-Side (Web/REST) Applications (Micro-Service Design/Development is added advantage)
• Collaborate with UX to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learn the applications capabilities
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI designs
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Support POC activities

Must have good knowledge in:

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer, 3+ UI Architect Experience
• Possess hands on experience with Node.js, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, React,Vue.js CSS3, OOP, SASS, LESS, Jasmine/Chai/Mocha/Karma
• Possess leadership and people management skills
• Experience on designing Reusable components, High volume, Scalable, Secure and Resilient Server-Side (Web/REST) Applications
• Knowledge of performance testing, application tuning and load testing
• Good understanding of SDLC methodologies
• Actively mentor peers and other software engineers
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
