We are looking for a mid-level Front End Engineer with extensive React.js and data visualization (bonus points) experience to join their team. The right individual should have a passion for developing and running scalable, large scale distributed systems. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our client -facing product (Client Portal) that provides reporting on our client's campaign as well as geospatial insights. You will also be involved a bit with product management.

• Developing, maintaining and enhancing our client facing analytical platform (Client Portal)
• Building and extending our automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, auto-scaling, code deployment and failover
• Improve our infrastructure monitoring, alerting and reporting
• Build modern automation tools provisioning on new infrastructure components
• Analyzing and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of various system resources
• Evaluate and implement new technologies
• Establish production best practices for the entire engineering team
• Maintain and enhance our internal system as needed
• Help recruit and train future engineers
• Guide and mentor other junior engineers to define elegant software solutions, to improve performance and scalability requirements
• Collaborate with our sales and marketing team to define product requirements

Qualifications :

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience with emphasis on UI and Front End Development
• Advanced experience with JavaScript
• Proficient with React.js and familiarity with its various libraries (Redux, React-Native, Jest, etc.)
• Experience consuming and developing scalable APIs
• Experience with Relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
• Experience working in a Cloud Environment (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)

Nice to have skills, but not required:

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, and/or similar server-side programming languages (Golang or Node.js) is a plus
• Familiarity or experience with Data Visualization utilizing D3.js or similar JS Charting Library is a plus
• Experience with analytical databases (Vertica, AWS RedShift) is a plus
