Site Reliability Manager / AWS / Terraform / Kubernetes

A fast-growing remote based startup in the telecommunications space is looking to bring on Hands-On Site Reliability Manager to their growing engineering organization. They can pay up to $250,000 base salary DOE. Our client was started in 2009, and they have built out a platform that will help low income communities have affordable access to calling, texting, and video communications. They have bootstrapped their initial fundraise of $1.5M in 2009 into over $60M in revenue back in 2019 and have been profitable as a business since their initial funding. They have big plans for scaling moving into 2021 and are looking to add on an experienced Hands-On Manager for their SRE and DevOps groups. The ideal candidate will be well-versed managing high-performance engineering teams, as well as very experienced with Public Cloud Architecture and Design (AWS Preferred). Candidate must be experienced with modern automation toolsets such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc. Ideal candidate will have a strong basis in automation programming in Python or Golang. • 2+ Years Experience in Engineering Management
• 5+ Years Experience as Site Reliability or DevOps Engineer
• AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• Configuration Management Tooling (Chef, Ansible, Etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code Tooling (Terraform, Cloudformation)
• Automation Scripting (Python, Golang preferred)
• Containerization tooling (Docker, EKS, Kubernetes)

• Bachelors Degree in CS or Related Field
• Background in Software Development/Engineering
