JOB SUMMARY

EES is looking for event staff to provide quality customer service to customers, patrons and employees of various sporting and event venues. Establish working relationships with customers, vendors and employees in fulfilling assigned post orders. Take an active role in assisting customers with other duties that may not be included in this job description and are approved by the Event Lead. Must possess and maintain a professional image at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Post orders may include Bag Checks, Ticket Taking, Metal Detector Operation, Crowd Control, Security Patrol, Traffic Monitoring, and Parking.

Quality service and positive interaction with patrons is crucial to the success of all the tasks within this job description.

Clear and effective oral and written communications skills.

Having the ability to greet visitors, vendors, and employees; while continuously maintaining the standards of excellence and professionalism. Customer Service is EVERY employee’s responsibility.

Maintaining an applicable knowledge of all emergency policies and procedures; responding immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determining the correct course of action, notifying appropriate authorities and assisting as needed.

Being diligent, vigilant, and aware of the visitors, vendors, and employees safety.

Knowing and understanding the positions orders, revisions, and daily event needs.

Knowing, understanding, and respecting your chain of command.

These functions are not limited to these listed and may be expanded upon at any time at the request of EES or the client.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EES is looking for candidates with at least the following minimum qualifications in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the venue, client, and/or location.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must clear a criminal background check.

Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands required by EES are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.

Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers.

May require the pushing, pulling, carrying or lifting of up to 25 lbs and stair climbing.

Must maintain the ability to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties within the venue.

Must be capable of standing for long periods of time as many shifts often exceed 8 hours.

Salary: $13.00 /hour
