GPG is experiencing exponential growth and is seeking for hire professional Armed Security Guards for multiple sites in the San Diego area.

We are looking for a high-performance individual that is capable of consistently executing security objectives in a concise, efficient and timely basis.

We have Morning, Swing and Graveyard Shifts available.

A strong and professional demeanor is an absolute must. Security Guards that are selected to fulfill this position will take pride in protecting their posts and will have demonstrated a clear ability to execute the job duties while optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.

General duties will include foot patrolling and will also include dealing with shifting demands as presented in daily activities but generally shall include:

Manning the security guard station with high attention and detail

Checking in visitors, guest and employees

Ensuring Security SOPs are followed with strict adherence

Completing routine patrols of the facility perimeter to ensure security checkpoints are secure.

Reacting at critical times to onsite security related issues

Watching security cameras to ensure safety and security

Ensures that security room, gate, doors, locks, rooms, camera systems, etc. are in working order during designated shifts

Qualifications:

1-year previous experience preferred, however training is available in armed security

Must have current California BSIS Guard Card

Must Have current BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (9mm/.40S&W)

Must have own duty belt with level 3 holster

High School Diploma or GED

Must have reliable transportation

21 years of age or older

Must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
