Quality Control Inspector to start ASAP

Urgently looking for a QC Inspector to start immediately for well known company in Vista, CA

Applicants should have the the ability to commence work ASAP, pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

min 6 months experience in an Inspector role

-Verify products meet the highest standards for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, cosmetic appearance, component fit-up, and performance characteristics.

set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products.

- Knowledge of inspection equipment including, but not limited to; calipers, micrometers, tape measure, thread gauges, and plug gauges.

interpret component drawings, assembly diagrams, and schematics.

- Responsible for recording inspection data and applying statistical quality methods, judging inspection results to verify conformity, or indicating deviations from requirements.

-prepare and/or enter data for inspection history as well as prepare and distribute required inspection reports.

-ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) is preferred but not required

-Confident user in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

-Ability to apply basic math concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

-Ability to effectively communicate inspection results & quality issues
