Join an established team of professionals in the rewarding field of immigration. First-year law students are encouraged to apply. We are seeking an experienced caseworker to handle existing family-based immigration benefit applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with 601A, U-visas, VAWA, and other family-based related applications, as well as consular processing. The qualified applicant must have verifiable experience, be detail-oriented, and work well independently (little supervision), and be efficient in a fast-paced environment.

Position is Tuesday - Saturday

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) BA/BS required

2) Minimum 3 years experience in an office setting

3) Must be proficient with Microsoft software

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Set-up client files

2) Work with clients to collect needed information & evidence

3) Complete application forms

4) Meet deadlines for time-sensitive applications

5) Conduct client follow-ups (imperative)

6) Analyze supporting evidence

7) Prepare benefit applications

8) Conduct research in support of complex immigration matters

9) Input and update online case management system

10) Submit evidence to the National Visa Center

Must have strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Must have excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
