Journeyman Floor Coating Installer

Southern California's premier epoxy and floor coating company growing and is now hiring journeyman installers. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. Previous floor coating installation and concrete polishing experience is required & references will be contacted. WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH ALL REQUIRED PPE!

JOB DUTIES:

- Concrete floor prep including shot blasting, grinding and sanding

- Mask and protect all adjacent furnishings and surfaces before and during every paint job

- Mix and apply epoxies, polyaspartics, urethanes, stains and sealers

- Direct apprentice installers on all jobs, material loading/unloading, site cleanup, truck cleaning and organization

- Work area includes San Diego, Riverside & Orange County so occasional regional overnight

trips are required (hotel and per diem is provided on overnight trips)

- Occasional overtime and weekend work is required

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

- High School Diploma (helpful but not required)

- CA Driver's License with excellent driving record (you will be driving a company owned 12' box truck from time to time)

- Good attitude, prompt, dependable, comfortable interacting in customer's place of residence

- Professional appearance

- Willingness to learn

- Attention to quality and detail

- Hard working, focus on completing jobs on-time and on-budget.

- A reliable commuting vehicle to drive from home to work and back is absolutely required

JOB DETAILS:

Rate: $22.00 to $27.50 per hour to start depending upon your experience

Schedule: Very popular 4 / 10 schedule (4 Days/10 Hours Per Day WITH 3 DAYS OFF EVERY WEEK

Work Week: Typical work week Mon-Thur or Tues-Fri starting at 6:30am sharp!

Vehicle: No more driving your own vehicle to jobs. You will using a Company owned truck (we provide gas) for driving to and from each job!

Parking: Free parking is provided for your personal vehicle during the day while you are at work
