The Certified Nurse Assistant's purpose is to provide residents routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s care plan, and as directed by facility supervisors.Essential Duties of Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA:Assist residents in achieving the highest practicable level of self-care, independence and well-beingAssist residents with transfers, ambulation and range of motionProvide clean clothing and linens that are in good repair to residentsHave necessary patient equipment present, clean and in good repairChange positions of residents to prevent skin care issuesAssist residents in being free of offensive odorsObtain vitals and report to Charge NurseMonitor and document I&O when requiredComplete charting of care providedAssist with preparation for new admissions, room changes, transfers and dischargesGreet new residents and orient them to their new room, and ensure they are comfortableCollect specimens (i.e. urine, stools, sputum etc.) as instructedReport significant findings or changes in condition and potential concerns to the Charge Requirements of Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA :High school diploma or equivalentCurrent certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNACurrent CPR certificationPreferable one-year experience in a long term care facilityAbility to read technical procedures and comprehend policy/procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employeesAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situationsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formPlease apply online with Country Hills Post Acute at: https://country-hills-post-acute.oasisrecruit.com/job/153439/certified-nursing-assistant-cna?s=cl
