Sun & Sea Manor is a full-service assisted living community specializing in Memory Care located in Imperial Beach just blocks away from IB Pier.

We offer a unique environment for seniors with dementia. We are looking for team members who have a heart for helping elders in a loving and caring manner. If you are passionate about serving seniors, we want to hear from you.

We are currently looking to an energetic and passionate CAREGIVER on a full time or part time basis for the following shifts:

Morning Shift (6:30am - 3:00pm) weekends required

Evening Shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm) weekends required

ALL RESIDENTS at this community have ALZHEIMER'S or DEMENTIA.

This requires a unique level of care and patience.

Job Summary/Responsibilities: As a caregiver, you will provide direct resident care with an emphasis on maintaining an orderly, safe and clean environment for residents. Caregiver helps meets residents' needs by assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc. Our community encourages independence, social engagement and aging gracefully. As a caregiver you will interacts directly with residents, families, staff, medical professionals and other visitors. You will perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required. Previous experience working with seniors or working in healthcare or home care services is a plus. Experience working with Dementia and Alzheimer's preferred.

Requirements:

-HS diploma or GED.

-First aid certification required (CPR preferred)

-Proficiency in English.

-Provide quality customer service to residents and visitors.

-Good communication skills

-Must be able to complete online training.

-Must complete State Background Check (LiveScan) and a clear drug screen.

- Must provide Negative TB test and Negative Covid Test or proof of vaccination

Compensation: Dependent upon experience.
