Take a closer look at our values, and then explore our dynamic career areas to find out what a career at Petco can mean for you.Position Purpose:The Retail Strategy & Experience Team is responsible for leading the retail experience digital transformation, design and execution of best-in-class omni-enabled customer services in stores, and improving employee agility and engagement so Petco can profit from changing business models and improved effectiveness to achieve its business goals:To position Petco as a company that customers can engage with when, where and how they want to shop To create an omni-enabled customer and employee experienceTo shift the store employee mindset to leverage technology for best customer experienceThe role of the Omni Coordinator includes using data and insights, first-hand immersive experiences, employee and customer end-to-end journey maps, as well as research to identify opportunities that improve the overall omni experience via employee execution. Omni Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring our in-store fulfillment areas of business (SFS, BOPUS, etc) are operating and running efficiently, effectively, and with a consistent high level of customer satisfaction. This will include metric review, process review, opportunity identification, and field follow up to ensure our employees are supported and provided appropriate guidance to ensure Petco executes as a best-in-class omni experience.This position requires a drive for solutions and associated results, a passion for the pet health and wellness industry, and the aptitude to learn, lead and collaborate with employees at all levels. Essential Job Functions: The incumbent must be able to perform all the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Ability to communicate and document execution fulfillment opportunities, potential solution options, associated costs, pros, cons and make a recommendation to leadership

Utilize a servant leadership mindset to help deliver an excellent experience for both employees and customers while solving operational and system issues

Implement continuous improvement and long-term process & experience improvement initiatives that are well-received by the company.

Coordinate the operational aspects (people, process, technology) of ongoing business initiatives and serve as a liaison between many cross functional employees such as store operations, merchandising, supply chain, marketing, IT, and CMI.

Create basic process documentation and resources as a deliverable to complete each operational phase

Assist with metrics and KPIs that allow the organization to gauge the success of retail experience digital transformation.

Help employees and leadership work through execution issues by leveragingexisting data and providing helpful insights in a clear and concise manner

Supervisory Responsibility:Ability to lead cross functionally with no direct reportsEducation and Experience:Problem Solving: Strong at issue identification and problem-solvingSoft Skills: Talented at developing business relationshipsIndustry Experience: Strong sense of urgency a must; ‘Athlete’ mentalityProject Management: Experience working on projects is a plusLeadership management: Ability to swiftly adapt to, develop collaborative relationships with othersLeadership management: Ability to swiftly adapt to, develop collaborative relationships with othersSoftware: Familiarity with relevant software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Project (or similar); Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Workflow tools (Visio or similar), SQL understanding is desirableBachelor’s degree or the equivalent of such a degree (IT, BPM, Finance)Must have a valid driver’s license and a Passport for international travel.
