Americas Sr. Cloud Architect

Title: Sr. Cloud Architect Location: San Diego, CA Contract: 12 months Job Description: Needs to have Teradata Expertise as well as Cloud expertise & certification (preferably in Azure) This role works closely with, and augments the Director of IT, and will be responsible for the following:

• Gain a deep understanding of the Clients analytic ecosystem, including the major source systems (internal and external), the data pipelines, the key applications running on Teradata, and the consuming systems (downstream analytic and operational apps)
• Develop the cloud migration strategy, followed by tactical execution.
• Develop a robust Data Migration strategy to the Cloud
• Develop an ETL modernization strategy

• Deep expertise and experience in Teradata, Data Architecture, Data Integration
• Cloud experience, Azure preferred
• Experience as Cloud Architect in one or more recent Cloud migrations
• Team player who can collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, while providing thought leadership
• Great communication skills
