We are in need of a Desktop Support Technician for a long term opportunity in San Diego. This position performs a variety of technical work related to the coordination, control, and maintenance of personal computers within the organization to insure compatibility and integration with IT strategies.This individual will solve more complex problems and will serve as a mentor to other technical support engineers.Requirements:Provide break / fix services for all hardwareMaintain security defaults as dictated by Information Security.Move, add, and make changes to all hardware and .Deploy new or cascaded systems.Update asset management database.Installation of new hardware and setup of network printers.Preserve a positive working relationship with all enterprise departments to optimize working relationships and communication; work with PC users within the enterprise as well as with external microcomputer vendors.
