RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is seeking a Mid-Senior Full Stack (JavaScript/Python) Software Engineer in San Diego, CA.
Summary:The Mid-Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will implement complex software solutions that integrate data from front end (node.js/react) to back end (SQL) using JavaScript and Python. C experience academic or personal is a plus. This is truly a full stack role. This hands-on Mid-Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will join our energetic and team-focused engineering team in developing innovative web technology solutions from initial prototype to final production and have a specific impact on the design and implementation while ensuring that end-user requirements are met.Responsibilities: Lead a team of software engineers developing and implementing technical projects from software/web applications to enterprise-level solutions Mid-Senior Full Stack Software Engineers design and implement full stack web applications Implement frontends and backends for advanced data-driven Single Page web Work on multiple projects in an Agile Scrum workflow Develop software and the artifacts associated with software development Implement high level designs in robust, maintainable software As a Mid-Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will create modules, install software on target nodes, and deploy configuration files Design and develop data polling/data pushing architectures Develop testing scripts and test plans Support functional and system level testing Lead functional and system level testing Deploy, test, and manage system during test events Design and develop client-side/server-side/database integration Participate and provide guidance during on-going code reviews Maintain the code repository Maintain and update continuous integration and build scriptsREQUIREMENTS: B.S. in an Engineering field (Computer, Software, Math, Physics, Electrical, etc.) 5-8 years of experience in full stack software development Demonstrated experience with JavaScript and effectively tying front end to database Demonstrated understanding of Python and SQL Experience transferring data across interfaces, netted data, and languages Understanding of embedded technologies and C is a plus Advanced knowledge of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Experience with React and data-driven Single Page web Applications (SPA) Functional ability with PostgreSQL databases and queries Experience with build tools (npm, gulp, sass, less, webpack, rollup) Understanding of REST API concepts and conventions Experience with git Demonstrated experience with Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS) Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipHighly Desired: Basic or in-depth understanding of radio and RF technology: FFTs, spectrum analysis, spectrograms, RF propagation, software defined radio (SDR), waveforms, frequency propagation, spectrograms, power spectral density, Ettus, USRP Experience working with MVC architecture, Websockets, Responsive Web Design Experience with LESS/SASS.
