RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in need of a Software Quality Engineer III in San Diego, CA.
Key Tasks: Software Quality Engineer III executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards Develops and writes testing scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows As a Software Quality Engineer, you will isolate, reproduce, and track defects; Verifies fixes Documents testing according to required procedures Software QA will also create/review/execute test plans and test cases and convert them into automation scriptsREQUIREMENTS: A Quality Analyst who has the following with 4+ years of experience Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies Experience working with web technologies such as React, JSON, CSS, HTML, etc. Strong experience in writing automation tests using JavaScript, Cypress (preferred), WebdriverIO and Mocha Strong experience in triaging failures, reproducing defects, and creating detailed defects using JIRA Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub etc. Strong debugging/analytical skills, must be able to read logs in Splunk, and knows how to use browser developer tools Ability to understand development to deployment/release process Able to act as a customer advocate and understand end user experience of web applications Experience working with cross functional teams, product managers and engineering leaders Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-starter who requires minimum supervision, able to use self-judgement to prioritize and organize the workloadKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
