Systems Engineer- Data Center

My client in San Diego is looking to hire a Systems Engineer to join the team on a continued Data Center move project. Based in the La Jolla/Sorrento Valley area: you will be required to be onsite 2-3 days a week.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience related to Information Technology
• 3-5 years’ experience as a
  Systems Engineer
• Familiar with administering Office 365

• Windows MS Server technologies (all flavors).
• Virtualization technologies
  VMware
• Server admin with patching and package deployment experience.
• Experience with enterprise backup solutions
• Familiar with PowerShell or similar
  scripting language(s)
• Experience with an enterprise monitoring solution,
• Must be able to quickly diagnose system problems and implement solutions to restore functionality
• Understanding of services at scale in large networks

• Linux OS administration experience
• Public Cloud experience (AWS/Azure)
• Understanding of infrastructure automation tools, such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible
