Data Engineer/San Diego

A marketing/advertising SaaS that has an engineering team in Carslbad/San Diego region is currently expanding, and they are in need of Data Engineers. You will work in a small and tight-knit engineering unit who take a project-based agile approach to software development and provide technical vision to the architecture and design of cloud native systems built for scale. The role will focus on dedication, team growth and empowerment through building a culture of responsibility and knowledge transfer. Some of the requirements will be designing and building a streaming pipeline that handles thousands of events per second, architect and scale AWS data pipelines and data warehouses.

• 6+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with Schema Registry.
• Experience building data warehouses in Redshift or Snowflake
• Strong coding skills in Python & SQL

• Competitive Pay: $150,000/yearly DOE
