An enthusiastic, energetic and passionate experienced trainer. In this role, you will have an opportunity to use your expertise to supervise, manage and motivate a team of trainers. Alongside your teammates, you will also train new and existing customers, and internal staff, on enterprise software, streamline processes and procedures and advance initiatives that support department growth and objectives.
What you’ll be doing…
Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's culture and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values
Reinforce employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, teamwork, collaboration, camaraderie, recognition, key employee retention and development, and high performance
Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees
Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding, providing regular feedback and annual reviews that include career development planning and opportunities as well as goals
Work with leadership on action planning to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Monitor team performance and provide metrics to upper management on development, contributions, and results
Evaluate new training techniques, tools and programs and make decisions with management for enhancements to existing training and education facilitation
Train customers at any size dealership and Procede employees on Procede’s suits of products and integrated applications
Based on advanced expertise, provide feedback to management and client on attendee ability, progress, and concerns
Continually build and foster customer relationships and engage with customers
Ensure training objectives are met
Contribute to designing, creating and updating training resources and materials such as training workbooks, supporting guides, surveys and webinars
Keep informed and current on Procede training and product offerings, integrations, and related components
Available for up to 10% travel, possibly to include weekends
Assist other departments with role-related activities and support company’s continuous improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, the following is essential to have…
Expert knowledge of facilitation, adult learning and motivation best practices and principles as well as industry trends
Familiarity with training methodologies and train the trainer techniques as well as knowledge of various assessment tools
Knowledge of Instructional Design best practices as well as Learning Management Systems
Extensive experience overcoming learner objections and ability to coach others how to handle objections in a classroom setting
Excellent presentation and engagement skills
Innovation and imagination in planning, analyzing, and executing new programs and processes
Exhibit leadership skills, emotional intelligence, integrity, fairness, confidentiality, and business acumen
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
Ability to work in high pressure situations
Self-motivated, driven, reliable and responsible, working without close supervision
Proven ability to liaise a wide range of stakeholders and communicate information, complex ideas and diffuse stressful situations effectively in writing and verbally
This position requires a minimum of:
5-8 years professional experience
3-5 years management experience
5 years Training experience
Experience delivering software training to both technical and non-technical users
Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Education, Communications, Business Administration, Management or related field but relevant work experience may be substituted
Physical requirements:
Ability to sit at a desk, computer terminal or meeting table for a long period of time
Ability to use hands and fingers or adoptive equipment to safely operate assigned equipment
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Ability to use telephone frequently for a long period of time, and to hear and speak clearly by telephone
