Growing construction company is looking for a Full time Accounting Assistant/Office Manager for its corporate office located in the Santee area. Candidates must be well organized, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work independently. Must have at least 3 years of accounting experience, construction accounting software experience is a definite plus.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Accounting:

Process invoices for approval and enter them into our accounting software

Work with project managers on job-costing

Maintain vendor and AP files

Onboarding and set up of new vendors

Assist the Controller and Project Managers with new tasks as needed.

Payroll:

Collect, audit, and process weekly time cards

Input time and payroll data

Compute and pay employee reimbursements

Enter weekly payroll tax deposits online

Onboarding and set up of new employees

Maintain personnel and payroll files

Update and maintain employee vacation calendar

General Office/Front Desk:

Warmly greet visitors

Field telephone calls to the company’s main line

Order office, safety, and general field supplies as needed

Compensation will be $18-$22 per hour, dependent on experience. Please reply with resume and salary requirements.
