We are seeking an experienced full-time Leasing Consultant who will be responsible for leasing apartments to maximize income and occupancy goals, while ensuring that the leasing process is followed correctly.

Job duties includes but not limited to:

Processing and completing applications and leases

Collect rental deposits and rents

Update listings of available rental units

Adhere to all Fair Housing laws

Tour prospective tenants to model apartment unit and around the property

Provide excellent customer service

Excellent written and oral/telephone communication skills

Track and monitor work order requests

Assist in monitoring lease renewals and sending lease renewal correspondence to tenants

Qualifications:

1-2 years of prior experience in property management industry is an absolute advantage

Excellent customer service and positive attitude

Must have strong sales ability

Must be organized and know how to prioritize tasks

High School diploma/GED is required

Knowledge of Fair Housing rules and regulations is a definite plus

Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Knowledge of Yardi is a huge advantage

Must maintain professional image and possess great people skills

Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
