Caregiver Needed in Rancho Cordova

An active quadriplegic man in his last semester of graduate school, is looking for a compassionate, reliable, upbeat caregiver to assist with activities of daily living and his healing recovery process towards independence.

Duties Include (but not limited to):

Personal care e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, stretching arms & legs (range of motion), assistance with meals & medication, (training available for all duties).

Driving to and from appointments and school activities.

Domestic duties, e.g., cooking, house cleaning, laundry, shopping, etc.

Shifts & Qualifications:

Must be able to work the following shift;

Saturday & Sunday - Start: 7am Saturday, End: 7am Monday

Must have reliable transportation, a valid CA drivers license, clean driving record

Speak English Fluently

Must be a NON-SMOKER

IHSS certified or willing to become IHSS certified before employment

Have a good sense of humor

Please Note:

Previous caregiving/personal assisting experience is preferred but training is provided. I am looking for a person who is mature, enjoys learning and has attention to detail.
