Job Details

The IT Helpdesk Administrator works to support our employees' technology needs. The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills and personal attributes that we believe are vital to our stability and growth. They will also consistently demonstrate our core values. The candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks while providing the highest level of customer service and professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:

  • Successful communication and interaction with customers and clients on the phone or in person
  • Assist in handling Level 1 support as well as diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues escalated by Level 1 Technicians.
  • Document, track, and monitor assigned ticket progress ensuring timely resolution
  • Apply known solutions to technical problems and suggest innovative ideas
  • Resolve technical problems of low to moderate complexity
  • Configure new users on the network and within our applications
  • Assist in the setup, maintenance, and support of our workstations and systems
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to resolve issues and complete projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Energetic with a willingness to learn, share and adapt within a fast-paced department
  • Comfortable working independently, within a team and as a leader as needed
  • Moderate to advanced ability in the troubleshooting and repair of computer, laptop, and printer issues
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve moderate to complex workstation to network connectivity problems
  • Proficient in assisting others using Microsoft Office and Office 365
  • Solid foundation supporting workstations that operate Windows 10
  • Strong and effective communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Education: AA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience desired
  • Certifications: CompTIA S+, VMWare Pro, VMWare Advanced Pro or other relative Intermediate certificate desired
