Role: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Remote

Rate - all inclusive

Overview:The ServiceNow Developer supports the intake, requirements gathering, development and deployment of workflows and other applications within the governments ServiceNow instance. The position requires organization, attention to detail, reliability, consistency, and interaction with FDA stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Designs, configures, customizes, and deploys ServiceNow scoped applications (ITSM, ITBM, Now Platform).
  • Support technical design, solutioning, application development and production release.
  • This includes building service requests from customer requirements, managing data flows, and performing routine maintenance, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Monitors and reports on the health, effectiveness, and efficiency of ServiceNow applications.
  • Writes medium complexity client and server-side scripts in ServiceNow.
  • Completes tasks on time with minimal supervision but supports collaboration across teams.
  • Supports requirements elicitation and provide feedback to optimize requirements to align to ServiceNow best practices.
  • Researches and leverages network to find answer to technical questions or challenges.
  • Makes recommendations to clients to support strategic planning and management of ServiceNow.
  • Works with business owners and business analysts to define workflows and develop user stories.
  • Troubleshoots issues and conducts root cause analyses and end user support for system-run processes.
  • Documents complete knowledge transfer of usage and maintenance of ServiceNow applications.
  • Contributes to identifying new opportunities, mentor junior team members, and support internal activities such as recruiting, quality, and solution building.
  • Supporting quality processes by reviewing team documents and following standard quality processes.

Required Experience
  • ServiceNow CSM - Customer Service Management
  • Total three to five years of relevant experience
  • At least one year, but three to five years preferred of recent experience developing applications in ServiceNow CSM and ServiceNow Integration.
  • Ability to independently manage a variety of projects with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities to complete work in a timely manner and meet mandatory deadlines.

Preferred Experience
  • Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field
