Water Operator II / I

Operator II: This position performs a variety of assignments in the installation, maintenance and repair of water distribution systems. A minimum of three (3) years of experience is necessary. Experience in the operation of heavy equipment (backhoe, trailer, etc.) is required.

Applicants must have a valid California Driver’s License and hold current Water Distribution D2 and Water Treatment T2 certificates. The position includes full benefits and a CalPERS retirement.

The salary range is:

D2: $54,053 - 61,157 / year DOE.

Operator I: This is an entry position which performs a variety of assignments in the installation, maintenance and repair of water distribution systems.

Applicants must have a valid California Driver’s License and obtain at Water Distribution D1 and Water Treatment T1 certificates within one year. The position includes full benefits and a CalPERS retirement.

The salary range is:

D1: $47,764 - 52,734 / year DOE.
