Financial Analyst - Entry Level

Develop competitive and customer-centric pricing and prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) proposals enabling business wins.

Read and review the customer RFQ requirements, document and create the rate template.

Distribute, collect and coordinate rates from involved parties in the U.S. and overseas counterparts.

Analyze received rate responses fo competitiveness, errors, and outliers.

Prepare ocean quotes by extracting rates from the ocean rate management software and the trucking broking software. For larger lanes request rates from the Global Procurement Center (GPC) for pricing.

Provide administrative assistance with the upkeep of supply ordering, required reports and processing Payment Requisition Forms (PRF) for vendor payments.

Requirements

Be proficient in MS Office Suite of Products, have analytical skills, excellent writing skills, problem solving skills and organizational skills including prioritization, plan, assign, and control.

Be creative, self-motivated and able to set own priorities, highly organized with a numerical aptitude, strong passion for accuracy, capable of working under tight deadlines, ability to work in a diverse environment and culture and ability to multitask and redirect efforts to new projects based on priorities

Business administration, commercial background, relevant working experience (minimum 5 years) and industry experience (minimum 3 years) is preferred.

Have functional experience in air/sea/logistics/customs brokerage and have expertise in scoping, solution design and pricing, understanding of Company strategy, products and solutions and basic business administration competence.
